QUESTIONS

  • What is the difference between Body Butter and Body Lotion?
Sensitive skin requires extra care, and selecting the right moisturizer is a crucial step. Depending on the formula, either body butter or body lotion can be suitable. But what sets them apart? Body butter is made with natural fats as the main ingredient, which makes it a more natural option. It is less processed, thicker, and takes longer to absorb into the skin, providing a more intensive level of hydration. Body lotion, by contrast, involves more processing stages and contains more water. It is easier to spread and absorbs faster, but it does not moisturize as effectively as body butter.
  • What should I do if my product melted during shipment?
During warmer months, our butter and balm may soften. We include an ice pack in our shipping package to mitigate this. However, you can easily restore the product's firmness by placing it in your fridge for approximately 2 hours. Please remember to check your mailbox promptly upon receiving shipments.

  • Is Body Butter Good for All Skin Types?
While body butter is an excellent choice for those with dry skin, it can also benefit any skin type due to its nourishing properties. Its thick consistency is gentle on the skin, but it's still important to perform a patch test before trying out any new body butter to ensure that it doesn't cause any allergic reactions.
  • Body butter is an excellent moisturizer for the skin, but does it work well on the face?
Here are some important factors to keep in mind when using body butter on your face: Despite being an excellent moisturizer, body butter may cause negative side effects on the face, such as redness, irritation, burning, or itching. These side effects can be uncomfortable and may result in allergic reactions. It's best for those with oily skin to avoid using body butter on their face, as it can make their skin even oilier.
  • Is it good to use body butter everyday?
When it comes to applying body butter, it is important to take your skin's condition into consideration. For dry or cracked skin, it is recommended to apply body butter daily. However, if your skin is oily or does not require frequent moisturizing, limiting use to one or two times per week or as needed may be best.
